Max speaks for the first time at AA, while The Divine tries and tries to get him to tell the full truth to everyone at the meeting. Meanwhile back at the apartment, Dorothy thanks Maggie for letting her back into her life and vows this time will be different. They talk about the family's future plans in Elliot Lake, but the conversation is cut short when Maggie makes an incensitive comment about Dorothy's past. After AA, Patrick walk Max home and tells Max what ableism is and how easy it is to overlook ones privilege.
