3 - 8: Biscuits

The quarter-finalists have to tackle biscuit-based challenges this week. Their first task sees them having to make a large batch of crispbreads, each of which must come up to the judge's exacting standards. The technical challenge sees them in a race against time and temperature to bake a set of six chocolate teacakes. The final challenge sees them having to create both delicious and functional buscuits before Mel and Sue reveal who has qualified for the semi-final and who has been eliminated.
