After Rachel learns she came second choice to Janet, she decides to punish her for not telling her. Rachel is pleased to be chosen for the Vic initiative, however Rachel is left feeling hurt by Gill's jibe that she is sleeping her way to the top. Janet feels like an adequate mother after Elise moves in with Ade. A baby is admitted to hospital, staff are becoming concerned that his injuries don't match his parents explanation.
