Wild Britain With Ray Mears: Season 3, Episode 5

Ray is at the River Wye in Wales where he begins his journey in the wet Cambrian Mountains, before meeting Dr John Taylor, an Environment Agency scientist trying to save a critically endangered mollusc, an indicator species for the water quality in Britain’s fifth longest river. He also learns about mating behaviour of the weird-looking sea lamprey which have travelled up the river to spawn at the end of their lives.
