A trail of blood ends up leading to a man who has been drinking after an abandoned car is discovered crashed into a telegraph pole on the outskirts of Watford. Close to Bedford there is manhunt as police dogs and the helicopter have picked up the scent of two men attempting to escape capture across fields.
