3 - 14: Mavis

Based on the story of the same name from Tramway Engines.The quarry has a new diesel named Mavis, who is full of her own ideas. Despite being inexperienced, she refuses to take wise old Toby's advice. Soon she gets stuck at the level crossing with the Troublesome Trucks, blocking the roadway. Toby comes to her rescue and Mavis is left feeling very angry and embarrassed.
