Whilst the court case is over, the repercussions of the slap are far from resolved for Aisha. Her marriage is buckling, and Rosie isn't returning her calls. Relief comes in the form of a veterinary conference on the Gold Coast. No family. No drama. No slap. At the conference she meets the charming, charismatic Art Martinez, one of the keynote speakers.
