Alex Polizzi visits 10-room family pub the New Lowndes Arms near Milton Keynes. Two years ago the Goyen family put down a hefty deposit with the intention of eventually purchasing the business outright. But having invested heavily, they ran into trouble as occupancy is worryingly low and the family are at loggerheads. Can Alex help them turn the business around so they can complete the purchase in just a few months' time?
