4 - 1: Cake

The hopefuls first have to create a sandwich cake, before having to follow Mary's basic recipe for angel food cake in the opening technical challenge. The showstopper round sees them creating a chocolate-based cake and is the final chance to avoid being the first to be eliminated from the competition.
