An energy discharge sends the Awesomes to a parallel universe where their evil counterparts have stolen the superpowers from all of that world's "heroes" (the Awesomes' villains) and plan to make themselves gods. Meanwhile, on the Awesomes' Earth, Malocchio meets with Joyce Mandrake.
