The duo sign up to a butchery class in an attempt to meet single men, but discover the only male in attendance is the teacher (guest star Jesse Birdsall). Cabbage sets her sights on getting his attention, but faces stiff competition from an overly flirtatious rival. Meanwhile, when Pat fails to show up for Derek's memorial service, Helen stages an intervention to keep her apart from her best friend.
