In the run up to his 18th birthday, Anthony Favin, a teenage boy who has grown up in care since the age of six, finds his place in Nottingham's Northern Soul scene. With help from his keyworker Luke and a collection of Northern Soul friends, he prepares to take his first steps as a DJ and towards an independent life.
