When Catalina met wealthy, sophisticated art dealer Eric Benson, in Boca Raton, she thought she had hit the jackpot, with expensive dates and promises of a lavish future together. Eric convinces Catalina and her son Laurence to invest tens of thousands of their savings into heavy gold coins. But the fairytale collapses when Eric abruptly vanishes and the gold coins turn out to be fake. Catalina seeks justice as a tense nationwide manhunt begins.
