A crucial file in an ugly $20-million lawsuit may be the catalyst behind the murder of a daring young man who was killed while trying to steal evidence for a "wrongful life" court case -- all of which has Detectives Goren and Eames sorting through a dysfunctional family looking for likely suspects who might want the documents. While the son is a prime suspect, the key clues could lie with his bitter mother Victoria who is suing a doctor for not revealing years earlier that her unborn daughter had a debilitating orthopedic problem -- a fact which could have prompted her to abort the baby.
