Ollie attempts to close Tara out after they work together on a sensitive case. They end up arguing which threatens Ollie's professional standing and his duty of care to a teenager finding it hard to accept his mother is dying. Ric thinks that Serena does not have a patient's best interests at heart and shares his concerns with Hanssen.
