A shocking event leaves Carol trembling and terrified, especially as Robert's behaviour grows increasingly erratic and menacing. Kaden and her husband, police officer Dan, are expecting a baby and are house-hunting, but Kaden is leading a life he simply can't afford and is struggling to deal with financial stress. Carol's mother Moira is oblivious to the horror lurking at Stable Row until Carol confides in her.
