Two divorcees go in search of a more successful match, and a woman who despairs of ever finding the right man finds her head turned from her date to another man in the restaurant. A barbershop owner tries to settle his nerves by drinking heavily before the date, and an unconventional neuroscientist looks for love with an artistic woman who has always put other people's needs first, but now wants something for herself.
