The Comic. A comedy writer wants to step into the spotlight as a stand-up comic, but when he gets his chance he learns its serious business trying to be funny. The Golden Hour. A convict's letters help a paralysed woman become optimistic about her life but when the letters suddenly stop she loses her will to live and comes to the island for help.
