2015 - 9: To Bakersfield and Beyond

This trip, Guy's giving some love to a little town with a lot of flavor. In Bakersfield, Calif., the landmark Basque spot serving a four-course meal including outrageous oxtail and garlic fried chicken. Across town, the Greek place cooking up authentic specialties like cabbage dolmades and braised beef over pasta. And west of town in Taft, Calif., the funky Asian joint dishing out killer pad Thai and a favorite called tom yum kung.
