Following their spectacular summer together, Declan and Holly J have to say goodbye when she goes back to Toronto to begin her senior year at Degrassi and he stays in New York to attend prep school. Fiona returns from South Hampton with a new, possessive boyfriend. With the new school year starting, Sav looks to take on more challenges this year now that his band broke up. Upon being encouraged by his mother, he decides to challenge Holly J for student council president, much to Holly J’s dismay. Meanwhile, Dave’s plan to win Alli’s affection backfires.
