The team investigates the murder of Weatherley Adams, a horror/slasher film actress found on the set with an ax in her back. The autopsy reveals that she was gored but that the ax wasn't the murder weapon and she was killed with a pipe. When Ronnie discovers a second body at the studio hanging from the rafters, she also comes face to face with the killer. Sara despairs at having death thrust in her face everyday.
