Ruth's brother comes to see her after being released from prison. Ruth refuses to believe he has changed when he tries to convince her that he has. Some homeless drinker causes problems in the hospital. Ruth's brother steps in to help security guard Mike who finds himself in trouble. Adam and Jessica continue to plan their wedding.
