Plot

The Wolf of Wall Street is an American biographical black comedy film that is based on the autobiography of Jordan Belfort. The plot of the movie follows Jordan, a New York stockbroker who refuses to cooperate in a large securities fraud case involving corruption on Wall Street, stock manipulation called "Pump and dump", the corporate banking world and mob infiltration. The Wolf of Wall Street was directed by Martin Scorsese, the director of the high grossing film Shutter Island and The Departed.
